Methodology

I am a qualified teacher with a good track record.I endeavour to make my lessons fun and interesting to ensure my students learn in a positive environment. I always give my students feedback in an encouraging way and support them with issues that they may find challenging.

Experience

I have been a teacher for several years, teaching students of all ages and abilities. I have worked in schools, training centres and I am also experienced in teaching English on a one to one basis privately. I have always had e very good success rate with my students achieving good grades.

I have good managerial skills and am a good team player with a very professional approach to any role I undertake. I enjoy taking on new challenges and do this with enthusiasm and commitment. WORK EXPERIENCE
PRESENT Designing and delivering bespoke Health and Social Care courses for various local authorities to unemployed learners to enable them to secure a job. This involves writing schemes of work, lesson plans and designing all resources needed. I also do home tutoring in English for students of various ages and abilities.

09 -08 – 04-16 Age UK Training – Training Instructor in Functional skills (English and Maths) and vocationally related subjects working with NEET students and adult learners in their work placements. I was involved in planning and implementing government funded training to a range of learners.
I also delivered courses in Employability, Health & Social care, Child care and EDI. Within this role, I had to plan and deliver training sessions to criteria set by awarding bodies and assess and grade students’ work. The subjects I covered included: health and safety, nutrition, manual handling, first aid, person centred care, Dementia awareness, safeguarding (adults and children) ,confidentiality ETC
