About Heather
I am an experienced teacher who understands that one shoe doesn't fit all. What I enjoy about teaching are the eureka moments that students have when they finally get to grips with a concept that they have found difficult. Learning should be fun and enjoyable. I choose to give students confidence in their abilities and a way to develop their independent learning.

Sessions will be tailored to the individual's needs, and sessions can range from 45 minutes to 60 minutes. Each session will be broken down into short inputs and focus on work for working memory and developing long-term memory. I use games, tasks and discussions. I am happy working with children from year 3 through to year 11 and sessions are personalised to the individual.
