About Mark
I spend 10 hours a week in the classroom teaching A-level PE. I also support my colleagues with the GCSE PE course delivery. Furthermore, I am responsible for supporting my department in the delivery of high-impact lessons. I enjoy keeping up-to-date with current research in pedagogy to continue to develop my own practice.

I typically use a Flipped Learning approach in schools where bite-sized specific videos are watched at home before the class. I implement effective questioning strategies to retrieve and build on prior knowledge. Techniques such as the EIO (example, impact, outcome) model are regularly included to ensure students answer exam questions correctly. All aspects of the theoretical content will be explained clearly to ensure students' understanding of key content is developed. Support can also be provided for the written component of the Edexcel GCSE and A-Level courses.
