My lessons are designed to help every student learn with confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment. I believe that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student's age, learning pace, strengths, and goals. Whether a student needs support with schoolwork, wants to improve their English skills, or is learning English as a second language, I create personalized lessons that make learning engaging and meaningful.
I have over three years of experience teaching English, phonics, literacy, and communication skills to kindergarten and primary-aged students in Hong Kong. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities, helping them build strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous learning, followed by interactive activities that introduce new concepts. I use a variety of teaching methods, including games, stories, discussions, visual aids, and hands-on activities to keep students actively involved. I regularly assess progress throughout the lesson and provide constructive feedback to help students gain confidence and achieve their learning goals. Homework or optional practice activities can also be provided when appropriate.
My lessons are suitable for:
Kindergarten and elementary students
Students learning English as a Second Language (ESL/EAL)
Children who want to improve phonics, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and speaking skills
Students who need homework support or extra help with school subjects
Learners preparing for assessments or looking to strengthen their overall English proficiency
What sets me apart is my patient, encouraging, and student-centered approach. I focus not only on academic improvement but also on helping students develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learning. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
