About Kate
I have been teaching Textiles for 30 years. I have a Bachelor of Education in Home Economics . My experience is in clothing and accessories, Upcycling and creative sewing as well as furnishings and upholstery. I also have an Associate Diploma in Interior Design. I have taught sewing in Adult Education classes and Jails.

I structure my lessons depending on the needs of the individual/group. Back to basics and developing the essential skills for sewing through to the more advanced sewing and fabric decoration techniques.
As i have taught yr 7 through to yr 12 students I am very capable of breaking things down to simple steps with helpful step by step guides as well as links to videos for further assistance.
