My trumpet classes are designed to build confidence, discipline, and strong musicianship through engaging and well-structured lessons. Students receive personalised instruction based on their current ability, learning style, and musical interests.
Beginners establish a solid foundation by learning breathing techniques, posture, embouchure formation, articulation, rhythm, note reading, and tone production. Intermediate learners strengthen flexibility, endurance, scales, phrasing, dynamics, sight reading, and expressive performance, while advanced musicians focus on orchestral repertoire, jazz improvisation, solo performance, advanced articulation, range development, and audition preparation.
Music theory, ear training, practice planning, and performance strategies are incorporated throughout the learning process to ensure complete musical development. My supportive teaching style encourages students to enjoy learning while achieving measurable progress.
