About Lauralee
I am a Wilfrid Laurier University Alum with a degree in Economics and Accounting with a minor in Spanish Business. I have been working in public accounting for 4 years. As part of my job as a Senior Accountant I am tasked with leading and training intermediates and junior staff as they develop their technical skills. On a more personal level, I am fluent in French and in my spare time I enjoy playing and watching sports as well as reading fiction novels.

My methodology is applying learning to everyday life which will allow students to retain information in an efficient way. For example, understanding how to balance a financial statement can help students learn how to plan a proper budget.
A typical lesson plan will be to target weaker areas of knowledge and help support students in the completion of their homework or assignments. While training new staff at my firm I realized that a lot of fundamental basics such as reconciling and pro-rating data is lacking.
Lessons are advantageous and geared for those that are in highschool or university/college.
