About Giulia
Hi! I am a working artist originally frome Rome, Italy, where I studied Art and Painting in the Art Academy for 4 years, 20 years ago. I paint since then.
My prime focus is in oil painting, egg tempera and watercolour. I can teach you how to streach a canvas on a frame, how to prepare a wooden panel with true gesso, and other insights in the art making. My style is unpretenscious, clear, and professional. I will adapt my lesson to your needs and aspirations, and help you win the initial fear (don't worry, we all experience it. We'll get over it).
English is not my original language but I know it pretty well (I also work as translator). You will hear some Italian words too, here and there! ;)

I love the making of a painting. The tools, yhe colours, the silent process. It is a sort of meditation for me. It connect me with the whole.
I very recently started to offer online tutoring as some people ask me to.
I have studied Art and Painting in the Art Academy in Rome 20 years ago and continued to study with working artists the following 3 years. I painted ever since.
