About Mallory
I have been a tutor for elementary school, middle school, and college students for 5 years now. I tutor math, psychology, biology, and chemistry. i help children achieve their goals in class by learner from me, and then teaching it back to me. This is called return demonstration, and it is one of the most successful ways to remember information being learned.
I got started because a professor nominated me to be a tutor on campus. I also had a few other jobs that were tutoring, so that is where I've had experience with all ages.
I will be graduating in May with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science and moving on the graduate school in the fall for Physician Assistant. I have been tutoring kids of all ages for 5 years now, so I feel well prepared and trained for this job.

I typically learn how the student feels about the class and their goals. Then, I begin at the basics of where they might be feeling stuck in their topic. From there, it starts to go in a flow of how they learn and how I should teach. Getting to know each other and make a comfortable environment is what I strive for!
I've worked with all ages, special needs, and accelerated students. The type or age of student doesn't matter to me, rather how well they learn and do in their classes.
