About Charles
Specifically good at teaching technique to the beginner on the upright & electric bass. Wanting them to look good, feel comfortable and look natural. I also want them to include this technique with the proper way to create, great tone and a nice sense of intonations.
From there the sky's the limit. With a little patience on the students part, I believe I can get them to infiltrate a great sounding bassline. Always including an understanding of basic harmony, with a strong sense of the rhythm that is obligated to be a part of any type of band in order to create the best music possible for any type of musical situation.
Have a Bachlors in Music specifically in Jazz Studies and double bass from California State University of Northridge.
Been teaching students for the past 2 years online.
