About Judi
I am a self taught ink and watercolor artist, creating Whimsy art, cartoons and impressionistic florals.
Original works can be viewed at the Marietta Museum of Art and Whimsy in Sarasota. Prints, cards and my 3 books can be purchased through the Cottage Art Gallery in Nokomis, where I also teach. (concealed information)
I have been drawing with inks and cartooning for over 40 years and 6 years ago added watercolor to my creations, which is now my passion. The combination of ink stipple with layers of watercolor create depth and detail that I love.
I have illustrated and uthored 3 books with the 4th going to print for release in the fall.
I teach beginning watercolor for adults, beginning cartooning and wet on wet impressionistic florals, at the Cottage in Nokomis. I have been offering classes for three years now and enjoy the experience immensley. I have a unique teaching style which results in the students having a very good experience and a fun time.
