About Elizabeth
I'm Elizabeth Davis, principal cellist of the Columbia Orchestra and Trinity Chamber Orchestra. I've been teaching for many years. I think it's VITAL to get a good start when learning to play cello, and use a mix of traditional, Phyllis Young's "Playing the String Game" method and Suzuki literature in lessons. I earned my B.M. in cello performance, M.M. in music composition, played professionally as a section cellist for 17 years and have over 40 years of performing experience overall.
I've joined the teaching staff at The Lesson Foundry ((concealed information) We are currently teaching online only.
