About Collin
I offer cello lessons for beginner and intermediate players. I have over ten years playing in school, honors, and professional orchestras around the Quad Cities. I played in the Augustana Symphony Orchestra for 4 years on scholarship while I attended college. I love sharing my passion for the cello with my students and truly enjoy teaching. I help my students achieve their goals by creating a plan and practice strategies tailored to the individual as well as supplementing necessary learning materials that will help them improve each week.
I love seeing students grow and achieve their goals.
I started teaching during college after my professor suggested I’d be good at it.
I have taken over 10 years of private lessons throughout middle, high school, and college. During college I taught students through Augustana between the ages of 12-16.

Mostly middle and high school players. I’m open to students of all ages.

Details
I will not turn down a student because of financial issues. I’m very open to working with people to find a comfortable rate for them.
My standard rate is $30 per 30 minute lesson, and $50 per hour lesson. Students are generally asked to buy one assigned book for learning material($10-$20). All other learning materials are provided by me.
