About Alexandra
Recent graduate with Master of Science in Biotechnology, Bachelor's in Biology with Minor in Chemistry. I have a passion for teaching and helping my students be successful. I like to break down concepts, make material relatable, and help guide students to figure out things on their own so they can grow as an intellectual and critical thinker. Your success is my success!
I have recent experience as an adjunct at a local nursing school, teaching Anatomy and Physiology as well as Microbiology. Currently, I teach high school full time for Biology, AP Biology and Chemistry. I am a believer in visual learning and personalized education. It is important to figure out what works best for you!
I enjoy both the academic and mentorship aspects of teaching. I want my students to know that science can be fun and does not have to be scary. I love the 'aha!' moments when the information clicks and the student feels a sense of accomplishment. Building relationships with my students helping them to reach their goals is what drives me as an educator.
