About Brandon
I have close to two years (four semesters) of tutoring experience at Kent State Stark. I have a Bachelors of Science (graduating cum laude), majoring in Botany and minoring in Chemistry. With that being said, I can successfully tutor several subjects. In the past I've had much success tutoring individuals and my strong suit, in my opinion, is understanding the students' specific needs and learning styles and tailoring their tutoring experience to that. I have experience working with students that desired much help in certain subjects as well as students whom were very well off on their own but just wanted a little extra assistance. I have my own transportation therefore showing up reliably to any appointments would be no problem at all. On top of all of this I just really enjoy helping out students and feel highly accomplished when doing so!
I simply enjoy helping others succeed and watching their progress from start to finish.

Start off slow and get a feel for the student and their learning style. Then tailor the tutoring experience to the specific learning style(s) of that student. I want the first time to be succussful and the student to feel progressed in the subject at hand but certainly not overwhelmed. I also intend to learn how much the student knows or doesn't know to gauge where to set the tone for future meetings.
