About Roksana
Hi there, I am a 4th year Ph.D. student in Structural Biology and Biophysics. I have been a tutor for a very long time, and I used to work at CUNY York College undergraduate teaching center, where I taught college students Math, Science (e.g., Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and more)
What makes me different from others is that every student has different needs, and we are all smart in our own unique way. There are no dumb questions, and being curious is one of the best characters of being a student. You want to have more questions than answers, and that's the only way to learn more!
I have always loved tutoring ever since my college life. Currently, I volunteer with many science outreach organization (e.g., BioBus, Skype-A-Scientist). As a volunteer, I participate in activities with the students and convey the importance of STEM education.
I would like to share more of that knowledge with a broader audience as a tutor on this platform!
