About Samantha
When it comes to the wide world of science, there are many unique ideas, laws, and theories. Just like science, every student as a unique way to process and understand the mysteries that subjects, like Chemistry, can teach us. I believe that every student can grasp complex ideas; however, they may need to see it explained a few different ways before they succeed (and there is nothing wrong with that)! I am comfortable tutoring not only science for high school and college but elementary and middle school math and science as well.
I love working one-on-one with students. I love my job as a teacher; however, there are so many magical "I get it now!" moments that really make tutoring special. I love to see a student who was struggling finally look at a problem and say "Oh, I can do this!" Seeing the confidence that students have when they finally get a topic that has been a struggle is so rewarding as a teacher.

When I start working with a new student, I like to get to know their likes and dislikes. I want to know what motivates them. We talk about things they love in other classes they are successful in and what makes the subject I am working with them on frustrating to them. It is all about open and honest communication to make sure that a student will get the most out of their learning time with me.

Perfect! Ms. Cordisco has been amazing for my daughter. She was looking at not passing chemistry with a grade percentage in the 40’s, not understanding the content being presented by her teacher. Within 5 sessions she is not only passing but has a high C in the class, feeling confident in her abilities and will pass this class! She pays attention to my daughter’s individual learning style and tailors her lesson to her abilities and to what her needs are each week! We can’t thank her enough and I highly recommend her services! We will continue using her services for this school year and whenever I find my daughter struggling again in the future.
Perfect! Although we just started, I love the time Ms. Cardisco has invested to explain the program. She was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Above that, she was passionate about teaching and helping my daughter achieve. My daughter has only had two lessons so far and the first thing she said after her session was, "that was great !"....doesn't get any better than that! Thank you Samantha!!!!

She is an amazing instructor. I was struggling to grasp the concept of dimensional analysis when we were first introduced. Within two hours of meeting, I was able to set up and solve complex problems on my own. I highly recommend her as tutor/ instructor. She is very reasonably priced and worth every penny.
