About Brian
BIOGRAPHY
I am a medical student with over ten years of tutoring experience starting from high school.
I have a B. S in Biochemistry from Boston College, and a Masters of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
I have two published peer-reviewed scientific journal articles
I have a strong passion for learning, but I realized I enjoy it more and learn better when I am supported and study with others. It was natural for me to want to bring my passion for specific subjects and try to instill that enthusiasm to others who need guidance and help. Tutoring was the perfect way for me to do this.
I started doing private tutoring in high school and continued doing so after I graduated College. I worked for a couple of years at Teacher Tutors Academy in New Jersey. I have been tutoring for over a decade and enjoy seeing students make drastic changes in understanding difficult concepts and material.
I tutor clients in Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, Chemistry and certain Math courses. I also do test prep that includes the ACT/SAT and MCAT.
At the request of the client, I incorporate natural relaxation techniques taught from medical professionals called (Mind Body Medicine) MBM.
