About Savanna
大家好! My services stand out as I am looking to learn as I teach. The best teachers are only the best as they have been preaching the same topics for a long period of time. I am looking to learn as I teach. I have been learning Chinese for going on six years. I have been surrounded by the Chinese culture and classrooms ever since I was in second grade. Once I hit seventh grade, I was put in a Chinese class with only one other student. I know the power of a one on one teaching and how far students can go if they have the one on one attention and personal dedication to learn. Another way my services stand out, is I'm quite young, 我十七岁。 I'm currently enrolled in highschool and dual enrolled in college.
Personally I love the Chinese culture and indulging in different aspects of the world. Being submerged in the Chinese culture and language in elementary school has certainly given me a fond love and comfort with Mandarin. This spring semester (2019) I'll be taking my last Chinese college course and am looking to continue my Chinese as a personal study. I recently met a sweet Chinese lady who is open to teaching me how to cook Chinese meals. 我爱中国反♡♡。 I also spend about a week a year volunteering in the very middle school Chinese classrooms I learned in. I am looking forward to share my learning, notes and passions to those who decide to work with me!
