About Pearl
Hi! My name is Pearl. I am a native speaker in both Cantonese and Mandarin. I have been using both languages with my family and at school setting for my whole life. I used to be an interpreter at Chinese Bible Church during Sunday service. I have been volunteering at CBC for three years until COVID-19 hits. Currently I am working as a Chinese preschool teacher at a private school in West Los Angeles. I have been working here for almost a year now.
It brings me joy to teach someone my language and help them to navigate through their Chinese learning journey. I like to find out why my student wants to learn Chinese and go from there.
