About Caroline
I have a passion for helping students find success in the classroom, whether that be elementary reading and math or college courses. All of my academic coaching is highly unique and personal to each student. I am a certified teacher with bachelor degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I have my master's degree in education and am certified in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). I've taught elementary school for 6 years - grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I have experience working with a wide range of abilities: students with IEPs/504s, gifted students, and EL students. I've tutored students from kindergarten through college in all subjects, including Spanish.
I have tutored many students ranging from kindergarten through college. I'm a teacher with certifications in kindergarten through 6th grade. I also have my master's degree and am certified in TESOL k-12. I have a minor and Spanish. I have taught grades 2, 3, 4, and 5.

My first step is to understand a student's strengths and opportunities for growth. I like to talk with the student and parents to learn about the student's academic background. The next step is to get into contact with any teachers, administrators, reading/writing specialists, etc. to learn even more about how I might best help the student. We'll create an individualized plan, whether that be focused around one subject or around overall success with school.
