About Jalen
I have been accepted in to Harvard, Stanford, The University of Pennsylvania Yale, Cornell, Brown, NYU, Vanderbilt, and 13 other top schools in the nation. I have been coaching students in their pursuits to construct the best college essay to position them for success.
I absolutely love seeing my students thrive and watching their portfolio come to life! They deserve everything!
I am very knowledgable as to how to create a stellar college portfolio. At Harvard, I participate in a variety of activities: all of which are dedicated to actualizing structural change through creativity and strategy. I am currently the Treasurer of Harvard's Black Student Association, on the Board of Harvard College Social Innovation Collaborative, an Analyst at Harvard's BLK Capital Management LLC, a dancer at the Harvard Ballet Company, and a board Art Critic at the venerable Harvard Advocate.
I started Merging Mundos Women (MMW), an enterprise dedicated to investing in women-led agribusinesses around the world! Currently, we have two teams working in Kenya and Argentina in an attempt to maximize production yields and feed more families. Additionally, I worked with Facebook's Global Business Group: there, I managed a multi-million dollar corporate portfolio and strategized ways to grow the Return on Ads Spend for venerable corporations. This upcoming summer, I will work with McKinsey & Co as a Research Analyst!
I am a classically trained ballerina! I trained professionally for over 10 years and ultimately decided to go to Harvard instead of becoming a member of a prestigious corps de ballet in NYC. I also have love writing ever since I was a child! Apart from being published in a few writing magazines, I hope to write TV shows one day.

1) Brainstorming Process: this process typically takes about 2 weeks. Here, I learn a lot about the student's interests, drives, and passions. We complete exercises to build a portfolio of formidable stories to use in college applications.
2) Drafts. This process will take about 3-5 weeks. Student will consistently write drafts, and I will provide intensive edits to ensure that the student is putting their best foot forward for applications. I help with all Common App Essays, Supplements, Scholarship applications, and more!
3) Finalization process. I make sure the student's final application is polished and ready to go!
