About Amari
AKLOSETT Elite Dance Training is built to develop both the beginner and seasoned dancer in the art of Hip Hop Dance.
I will be working to improve individual skills such as musicality, individual and group performance, along with understanding the history of hip hop dance. As the dancer develops and improves those skills, advanced classes will be offered to support dancer growth. Dance Classes are designed to help develop each dancer as an individual and as a team/class.
Coach Kandy provides both competitive and recreational dance training. Coach Kandy has previous experience as a professional dancer for the NBA with the Sacramento Kings, and Sacramento Monarchs along with an extensive competitive dance background.
Coach Kandy attended Natomas Charter Performing and Fine Arts Academy in Sacramento, CA where she learned and trained heavily in traditional dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. She also worked at her mother’s dance studio(s), Studio T Urban Dance Academy, in Sacramento, CA.
She trained and rehearsed along side dance phenomenons like the Jabbawokees and many others. Her experience coaching includes over 20+ years of coaching competitive dance, high school dance instruction, and professional dance performing.
