About Keanna
I have experience teaching children as young as four, along with elementary school students, middle school students, and even adults. I have taught dance internationally and love the universal language of movement. I am a classically trained ballerina, who also has experience with theatre dance, some tap, contemporary, heels, and some jazz funk. I love choreographing as well.
I enjoy sharing what I am passionate about with kids! I love being able to create something with others that is entertaining and enjoyable. Dance is unlike any other language and I am always glad to teach it.
I wanted to earn some money in my sophomore year of high school so I began a series of arts camps during the summer. From there, I was given the chance to choreograph two musicals with a middle school. In college, I was requested to teach at a summer program in Vietnam, where I taught both English and ballet. I recently choreographed an Off-Broadway show and worked with adults.
I am currently going into my senior year of college. While in school for Media, Culture, and the Arts with a Business minor, I also had the opportunity to do a full time program at Broadway Dance Center, where I was a street and theatre concentration. I have also interned with American Ballet Theatre's education department.
