About Kenya
Ballet Papalotl is an Authentic Mexican Culture & Folkloric Dance troupe,
born in Oregon in 2003.
"Papalotl" means "butterfly" in the Aztec language (Nahuatl).
Ballet Papalotl’s Mission is to share the Authentic Mexican Culture & Folkloric Dance with the people of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, to contribute to an harmonious multicultural society. We are recognized as Culture keepers in Oregon (Oregon Folklife Network & University of Oregon), we are well recognizaed by RACC recognition (Regional Arts & Culture Council). We have earned multiple prices and recognitions.
