About Lianne
The art of Hawaiian Hula/Polynesian Music and Dance is for everyone! All levels, ages, shapes, sizes, etc. are welcomed. Main criteria is the willingness to learn not only the dance but the meanings, cultural concepts, stories, tolerance and acceptance of different peoples from all walks of life. We encourage and practice daily the "aloha spirit", respect for self and others, working together for the greater good. It's exercise for your mind, body, and soul while making and maintaining life long friendships. Come join our HC Ohana❤️
I enjoy sharing my cultural upbringing, experiences, knowledge, and stories about my birth land. Dance and music are keys to holistic wellbeing. Parents often comment how their child(ren) gain in their confidence, self-esteem, ability to take risks, and how their involvement and learning also helps to strengthen their speech, language, academic and social skills.
