About Marcelo
My name is Marcelo Solis. I am an Argentine Tango teacher with decades of experience as a dancer, educator, and guide in embodied learning.
My work goes beyond teaching steps. I help students understand how movement, balance, musicality, and connection actually work in the body. Lessons with me are clear, structured, and personalized. I meet students where they are and help them progress in a way that feels natural, sustainable, and enjoyable.
Students often say they feel seen, supported, and challenged in the right measure. I explain concepts in simple, practical terms, and I focus on fundamentals that make everything else easier, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced dancer looking to refine your Tango.
I have taught thousands of hours of private lessons and group classes, and I continue to study and evolve as both a dancer and a teacher. I take my responsibility seriously, but I keep the learning environment relaxed, curious, and human. Tango is complex, but learning it doesn’t have to be stressful.
If you want clear guidance, honest feedback, and a teacher who is fully present with you, I will do an excellent job helping you grow as a dancer.
