About Morgan
Hi everyone, my name is Morgan Lasyone and I am a local Louisiana artist. I am located in the Elmer/Hineston area, 30 minutes south of Alexandria. I currently have a studio at River Oaks Art Center located in downtown Alexandria. My services stand out because I am willing to help people discover their own personal creative bone. I will take the time with each student, and I'll try to add some fun twists along the way. I went to help my students gain confidence within their work.
For me personally, teaching art has given me a key to the world. I have been able to study art from here in the states to places like the Louvre in Paris, France.
I enjoy teaching art because it gives me freedom to live my life the way I see fit. Teaching art has brought me happiness in all aspects of my life.
I started teaching in 2015 at the Alexandria Museum of Art. Since then, I teach at River Oaks Art Center. Art teachers were needed and I applied and here I am today.
Studied at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La - Studio Art
Self Taught
I teach summer art camp each year to younger students at my local studio/art center.
I taught adults at QuirkyArtz paint center in Ball, Louisiana in 2016-2017
