About Kimberly
Fun acrylic or watercolor painting classes in a group environment or one-on-one.
I am also verified in art therapy and love working work both children and adults in this modality.
My Business is mobile. I can present classes or indovidal session in your home or business. I can also arrange a beautiful space for ha all to enjoy art together.
It was a natural progression of all the things I love - painting, teaching, meeting new people and spending time painting with others.
I am a self taught art in the sense that I didn't learn the traditional way at a University or art college. However, I have taken a multitude of online classes from my favorite artists to get where I am today. I am so very thanks for them all and their expertise.

Patience and kind guidance through the initial unsure phase that all new students go through. "It's only paint." We can just wait for it to dry and paint over it.
I have worked with students of all ages. My youneates student was 4 and so far my oldest student had been 73.
I have worked a lot with beginners but have also had sessions with intermediate students.
Shop around for someone providing the service you desire and/or the kind of art. There are a couple of pain and sip type businesses in our area. These are great for parties and coplrporate events and I sometimes do these as well.
what I haven't come across so much is art lessons and have seen no other art therapy offerings.
I had a session with a young girl of 5 years old. It was her first lesson and the passion was through the roof! 😊
She was fascinated by mixing primary colors to get the secondary ones and retained the information surprisingly well.
She just kept wanting to paint more and more canvasses and was disappointed to have to stop pairing after a couple of hours.
if we all had her passion with some adult knowledge...just imagine!

What are they hoping to gain from the session - fun relaxing experience with friends or a serious transfer of knowledge to assist them on their artistic journey?
Or...maybe they are looking for a way to work through real issues through the beautiful self expression of art and need guidance through this process.
