About Sarah
My enthusiasm and love for the subject matter - as well as a deep and broad knowledge of the subjects and their history - I earned a Masters of Fine Arts from the American University in Washington, D.C. in 1988 and also attended L'Ecole Nationale d'Arts Decoratifs in France (and speak fluent French) and my skill set - are what my students love about me.
I have been an exhibiting (professional) artist since the 1990's.
I'm understanding, supportive, and empathic. I also work as a counselor.

I started while I was graduate school, though I had always taught non - professionally - including French, energy healing and meditation, English and more.
I've been making art for many decades, attended art schools here and abroad, and earned my Masters of Fine Arts Degree at The American University in Washington, D.C. in 1988.
I am as passionate a student and scholar as I am a teacher.
