I stress color TEMPERATURE in conjuntion with tonal values to create highly vibrant works that resonate with your soul. Use of Black is NOT ALLOWED in my Studio or Class room / Workshops! I will teach you how to mix & layer colors in order to accomplish rich & vibrant darks full of life!
I will show you how to go beyond the rule of thirds to design strong / complex compositions used by the Old Masters! You will build compositions that far surpass that boring "path up the center" that I see so commonly with beginners. I work in a variety of media including Watercolor, Colored Pencils ( I'll show you how to have great fun combining the best of two delightful media resulting in paintings that have the fluidity of W/C but accomplish the intense high detail possible with Colored Pencils!! ), Pastels, Graphite & more!
I am a Wildlife Artist, specializing in Birds of Prey. As one of 500 Signature Member of Artists for Conservation in the world, I am currently working on a series of #Eagles_of_the_World ( 70 species! ).

I like to connect online via SKYPE ( or via Facebook Video call - which IS SKYPE anyway! Click the little movie camera icon! ) & just have a casual conversation to get acquainted. The student can ask me any questions they may have & share samples of works they've done recently, so I can see where they are in their skills at the present. Then we will proceed from there. I can easily show them samples of my work in my Studio, including what I'm currently working on.
