About Danielle
I love seeing when someone is excited about something they created, especially when they think it was something they were not able to do.
I am patient and have worked with all age groups with beginner students. I enjoy when we unravel the mysteries of drawing and art so everyone can feel it is obtainable. I want everyone to feel that they can to create art without self-judgement.
I have worked with Young Rembrandts afterschool art program in the state of Vermont for 2 years with children ages 5-12.
I have also led workshops of mindfulness flower drawings for adults who either have not drawn before or had not drawn in a very long time.
I have worked at Burlington Paint and Sip for 1 year as an instructor for a 2 hour event for adults and children events to lead step by step to create various paintings.
I have created my own art for over a decade in drawing, painting and ceramics. I participated in a pottery coop for about 3 years and concentrated in ceramics in college.
I have a bachelors from the University of Vermont in studio art and psychology.

I typically start with talking with the student to see their experience and background in any medium of art and see what it is they want to work on. I customize all lessons based on feedback and what the student wants to achieve. I also start by just trying to loosen up and have fun, possibly by working on some silly drawing exercises.
