About Laura
Learn to paint/draw with nationally exhibited artist (MFA), Laura Gelsomini! I have a decade of experience teaching in higher education and have had thousands of satisfied students! I offer positive, uplifting instruction of techniques and methods for developing professional quality artworks. I'd love to help you learn about my greatest love- ART!
For me, teaching art is an art. I see my students as a creative challenge and a beautiful toolbox with which I can inspire and enhance to make the world more beautiful. Art makes people proud of who they are and happy to produce. Making art makes us feel more alive. Art leaves traces of our life in beautiful moments.
I began working as a teaching assistant while obtaining my MFA.
Over ten years of experience teaching in college. I also hold a BA in Studio Art and an MFA in Painting.
