About Jesus
First, I taught in my alma mater back in Perú(P.C.U.P.). Then when I immigrated to the United States I tought Summer Schooling for little kids and later in the South Florida Art Center for a program created by the Miami Dade Community College. Through the years I had one to one students at my studio as well.

After a quick evaluation of my student's level, I start with drawing since is essential for everything else; it is important for my student to have the technics, tools and skills to be able to draw. Along with drawing I teach the basics on color theory and how to build a pallette. Then, I start teaching the technics of my student interests(Drawing, Watercolors or Acrylics). One important thing that I teach aside from the skills and technics is CREATIVITY. As my student progresses, more technics are added accordingly.
All kinds and all ages! Students with a lot or little talent, with a lot or little creativity. My experience has taught me that there is no good or bad student, everything depends on knowing and recognizing their interests and capabilities, the rest is just techniques.

Whenever someone is interested in taking art classes, they have an artist they admire. I would say that they think about that wonderful work that those artists left behind! And above all, understand that it is never too late to start.

Details
I don't have an standard pricing since each student is different and are at different levels(or have different talents) it also depends if the classes are face to face or remote. I start at $65 an hour for beginners; once my student advances to a higher level and decides to continue my price goes to $85; after a certain period depending on the student's progress I charge $120 since my classes will take more knowledge, time and technics. In other words, the initial price will depend apon the evaluation of my student and if the classes will be face to face or remote. I teach minimum two(2) hours per week, per student.
