About Rasheeda
Hello, My name is Rasheeda Prince. I've been painting and drawing professionally for 7 years now. I received my BA in Fine arts with a concentration in painting and drawing. My strong point is in representation art. I originally started teaching art at the Boys & Girls club as a Youth Development Art Instructor and then started offering personal lessons. I graduated Felician University with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in drawing and painting. I attended several undergraduate master classes at the New York academy of Art including a month-long residency at the institution. I have worked with grade school children as a art instructor with the boys & Girls Club of America.

First understanding what the students experience levels are and mapping out a personal lesson that's geared towards the students' preference according to subject matter. I believe everyone has the capability to learn the skill. My job is to enhance what you already know.
My advice would be that although having a mentor and teacher is a great thing (I have one myself) do not measure yourself up to them because as an artist you are going to develop your own style.
