About Shirley
I have been drawing and painting my entire life. Currently, I am taking a color theory course at Cerritos College, working towards a degree in Studio Arts. I have participated in many art events throughout Los Angeles, Venice, and Malibu. Practice my drawing skills at Creative Talent Network in Burbank, have taught crafts and jewelry making classes at the parks and recreation center, and have taught acrylic painting on canvas.
I have always been passionate about exploring the world of art. Being able to transfer my culture, beliefs, and curiosities onto a canvas and being able to sit back and admire the finished product is very rewarding. I also enjoy sharing my work and being able talk about the message my pieces convey. Having the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills with others, and to see their satisfaction of having created a beautiful piece is gratifying in and of itself.
