About Nicole
Hello, My name is Nikki and I LOVE to paint in all mediums. I am formally trained and went to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. There I graduated with a BFA in Textile Design. There I fine tuned my artist skills of Drawing, Painting and other Textile related classes such as screen printing, weaving, photography. At this time I am updating my portfolio with hand painted 60's Retro Prints using Bright Dyes. I also paint with mostly Acrylics on canvas. My home has my artwork in all the rooms. I would enjoy teaching someone and passing on my skills to make them a great artist.
I enjoy researching trends online from Pinterest, Goggle and books in my personal library. I like to listen to soothing mediation music from various cultures when I do my artwork. It takes me to another place and I focus totally on my design and colors.
