About John
I have a lengthy track record of both teaching and demonstrating art techniques that students can understand. I mainly focus on graphite & charcoal, acrylic and oil paints. I prefer to teach landscapes.
I enjoy the "aha" moment that students get when they realize how simple the process is.
I started teaching at Paint Nite back in 2014 and went from there.
I have over 20 years in the Fine Arts world.

My process for working with a new student is to find out what the student wants to learn.
I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, from children with special needs, to elderly who are suffering from the early stages of alzheimers.
