About David
I started creating Art as a toddler and I haven't stopped. I have taught Visual Art and Art History for over twenty-five years at middle, high school, and college levels in multiple areas including Drawing, Perspective, Figure study, Dynamic Figure Study, Drawing from Life, 2D Design, 3D Design, Illustration, Ceramics, Sculpture, Watercolor, Acrylics, and Oil painting. I have also taught Art History and Art Appreciation. I have an MFA in 2D Design with concentrations in Drawing and Painting, as well as k-12 certification. Art is my greatest passion.

I listen to what the student is interested in learning and what artists and works they gravitate towards.
I give the student a pre-test for drawing skills.
I view any previous work the student has created.
I make a learning plan based on this information.
