About Hugo
I'm a professional drummer who graduated from Berklee College of Music. I've been teaching and playing drums for several years.
Music and drums have been my passions since I was a kid, and I've been doing it because of the joy that brings me.
I know that the learning process might be different from person to person, and that's why I accommodate the lessons according to level and learning abilities.
I'm an English and Spanish speaker fluent in both languages.
I do read and write music. Therefore, I can teach music notation and drums big band sight-reading.
I have a music degree from Berklee College of Music, and I majored in Music Business and management and drum performance. My genre knowledge varies between Jazz, R&B, Soul, Rock, Metal, Brazilan, Afro-Cuban, among others.
