About Koehler
Hello my name is Koehler I live here in buffalo for the past 8 years I've always loved drums. My father played drums and put me on a drum kit when I was 3 years old and I've been playing ever since. I have two little girls at home so I enjoy teaching kids that want to get started learning the drums. My house is to small to teach but I'm more then willing to drive to the lesson
I start teaching my eldest child when she turned 5 and I've taught some friends and other family members
Honestly all I have is my experience as a life long drummer and kids of my own

My biggest thing is patience I know it can be daunting learning how to first play the drums so I start simple with the names of everything on the kit. Then I like to take the hands on approach so the child gets to actually play and have fun!
Mainly kids but I have taught older people that have never touched a drum kit
