About Jeff
I teach not only basic music technique on drumset, hand drums and percussion, but I also take into account the whole person, and offer instruction on drumming as a tool for meditation and stress relief. My lessons are suitable for people with musical goals and for people who don’t need to be amazing musicians, but who simply want to use drumming as a stress relief tool and a tool to connect with themselves.
I am passionate about catalyzing transformation and growth in students. It’s so rewarding to watch a novice student blossom into a musician.

I like to get to know the student’s musical likes and dislikes. When I know what kind of music excites the student, we can use that excitement for a particular song or style to fuel the learning of fundamental techniques.
