About Juan R
I have been teaching for 22 years in Europe, Latin America and the USA. The complete formation of my students as Percussionists speaks highly of my teaching philosophy and methodology. I began studying music in Cuba at the age of 5. I completed my M.Music studies at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, Cuba. I was immediately hired as a full time instructor. I have earned my PA teaching certification at Eastern University (2011) Currently, I live in the USA, where I am in great demand as a well rounded Percussionist and a teacher.
Prior to graduating from college, I was selected to be part of the staff at the University. ISA Instituto Superior de Arte, Havana
20+ years of teaching experience from elementary to college and professional level. Currently an active and on demand player.
