About Mark
Hello, my name is Mark Kearney and I teach drum lessons. The student can expect a very fun and professional environment. I teach what you want to learn. Whether you're a young student getting starting in school band, or an older player wanting to find your passion again, I can customize your lesson.
Beginning drummers can expect to start off learning how to read music, play basic beats, and fills. From there, each lesson will challenge you every week to get better and better! I like to throw in learning a song of your choice every few weeks to keep lessons exciting and fun.
Drummers that have some experience can expect to go back over things you may have missed while learning, to ultimately get better in your drumming ability. Habits are hard to break, but I will recognize the things holding you back from improving.
A little background on me...
Mark Kearney
is a full time professional drummer in Tennessee. Receiving his first drum kit at the age of 5, he has worked hard to master his craft - never looking back since picking up a pair of sticks. Whether at a honky tonk bar, or playing main stage opening for national acts, Kearney is seen playing all over Knoxville.
FIRST LESSON IS FREE! After that a half hour lesson is $40 and full hour $70.
I will travel up to 10 miles from my house for an extra $10 per lesson.
