About Benjamin
I have a great deal of interest in seeing the student succeed in whatever field of music they persue. I look forward to helping the student learn to teach themselves by understanding fundamentals, rudiments and different styles of drumset and percussion music.
I currently work as a drummer in the NYC area while also teaching private lessons. I have a Bachelors and Masters in Percussion Performance and a Masters In Jazz Studies. I teach privatley everyday of the week and work with students of all ages.

Fundamentals are key in any type of drumming and for any level. I usually incorporate fundamental work with my students. Exercises with technique and grip as well as rudiment and note recognition are usually what I start with a new student.
