About James
I started teaching right out of high school, taking students from all around Ogden, usually through friends/acquaitances.
I have nearly a decade of eduction through private instruction and academic channels; I am currently pursuing a collegiate education in music and music technology at the University of Utah.

Goals are important, especially with older or more experienced players. Lesson cirricului will always be tailored to what a student wants to do with the skills they will acquire, and, importantly, be approached systematically and methodically, with a particular pedagogy for building comprehensive and deep knowledge.
Primarily young adults/kids, from late elementary to high school.
Find a teacher who actually teaches, as opposed to lecuturing, and one who builds competence as opposed to repertoir.

Details
My standard rates are $25/hour for 1-hour sessions or $30/hour for 30-minute sessions. However, I never want pricing to be a limiting factor for new students, so these figures are negotiable.
