About Denise
I believe it is important to define a goal, make a plan to achieve the goal, and work the plan.
All aspects of teaching and learning are enjoyable to me. I find I learn as I teach, and teach as I learn.
I have been a high school and community college English teacher for 20 years. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning. I teach ESL online and I hold a TESOL certificate.

First I have to find out where a student is at the present time. Then we find out where the student wants to be, set a specific goal. Then we make a plan to achieve that specific goal.
I have worked with a wide range of students, ages 4 to 75.
Teaching is a person to person job. It's important to find a common ground with your teacher, as well as the teacher with the student.
