About Adrian
I'm a high school student (sophomore year) and I've been helping my fourth grade brother with his homework for a while now. Because of online learning he's had to learn a lot of things on his own and having someone there to help has been very helpful for him. I feel like a lot of parents (including my own!) have trouble helping their kids because of how long ago they learned the material, but most of the stuff kids are learning now is still familiar to me, which is helpful.
I'd love to have the opportunity to help student struggling with ADHD or other learning disabilites. I have ADHD myself and because of that I can accomodate to how they think and explain concepts in a way that can be better understood by a kid struggling with these issues.

Before working with a student the first thing I'd want to do is get familiar with how they recieve homework, and what the standard is at their school. If using an online system (which most kids are nowadays) I'd also get to know that, and make sure I know where and how to turn in work. This helps me figure out a schedule that fits the student's dealines and school system.
