About Ericka
My teaching philosophy is simple," No One Gets Left Behind". This means that each and every student regardless of age, race, nationality, and mobility deserves the right to have the best teacher and education, at a budget-friendly cost. As an educator who has been teaching for the last eleven years in countries such as the USA, UAE, Jamaica, Iraq, and Kuwait; I have seen wherein a generic classroom setting some pupils are been overlooked while others are getting more attention because of whatever reasons. My only goal and focus is to ensure that the students that are placed in my care are given the rights and equal opportunity that they need and require to shine and excel academically in every aspect and on every level.
Teaching is my passion, my calling, it is not just a career or a job to me, it is my life. So my greatest gratification comes from seeing the progress that my students have made in their lesson accomplishment and the hard work and effort that they sincerely have exercised to reach their academic goals.
I have a bachelor degree in English, a TEFL certificate, State Teaching License, and a UAE Teaching Certificate. I also have CPD Certificates to hone my career. Experience teaching in countries such as the USA, UAE, Kuwait, Jamaica, and Iraq in the curriculums such as the American Standard and Common Core, the IPC and the ENC.

All new students' first lesson will be free, which is their assessment session. A student must first be given an assessment test based on the level that they are at and should be on the subject/s and topics that I will be offering the service that they requested. The test results will be emailed to the student by the following day, for them to see the areas that we need to improve on. The student will use this 35 minutes free assessment session and feedback to let me know if we will move forward to start classes online.
