About Ashley
I have a cousin with substantial learning disabilities who suffers tremendously from his condition. I felt a strong connection with him and wanted to help him succeed in his studies. I eventually decided to pursue an education degree; focusing on elementary aged children; but eventually switched my major to pursue nursing. Over the years I realized that my compassion for struggling children and my understanding of the importance of educational success gave me a drive to get into tutoring.
I have a combined 6 years of experience working with young children and special needs children who were attending school during grades 1-8. During this time I primarily worked as a motivator and tutor.
